Editorial Review

Drinking games, shredding, and the token T&A abound while a killer (or killers!) and the legend of a murdered girl haunt the slopes. Although I'm not of the snowboarding breed, I still found this flick to be a very enjoyable and inventive bloodfest. Below are a few stills I captured from the movie and a bit of my editorial ramblings - NO SPOILERS.

Lindsey McKeon ("Guiding Light") is convincing as Kimberly Van Arx, the rich bitch who manages to manipulate her friends, boyfriend, love interest, and cousin into breaking into a deserted ski resort to consummate her hidden agendas.

Favorite line: "Ever since I met you, you've done nothing but pose, front, and lie. I like it."

Scott Weinger portrays the pitifully whipped "Cole Davidson" (a.k.a. "grumble bunny") - boyfriend, chauffer, cook, and packhorse to Kimberly Van Arx. Bad karma, perhaps? Although he doesn't offer the same show as "Christophe," Scott's "Cole" is very pleasing to both the eye and the heart. The audience is compelled to root for this guy to get out alive as he has been tortured enough.

Favorite line: "Just so you know, I'm a liberal. I mean, if you want to, like, bring chicks home, it's cool."

BILLY O' (MTV's "Undressed") is the amatuer filmmaker, Skyler, who tags along to make a documentary on the art of "shredding." His child-like energy and enthusiasm provide applaudable comic relief.

Favorite line: "We are going to need an immediate beer run to sustain the survival of our species!"

Juleah Weikel (100 Women) is the androgynous Pike, cousin to Kimberly. Despite the "Tank Girl" attire, Pike is one of the most likable characters, and probably the smartest.

Favorite line: "She must be the fuck of the century. I've known her my whole life, and that's the only reason I can think of that anyone would put up with her. So, if you ever find out, let me know!"

PETER RIGGS is "Kirk," the second best shredder in the region. He spends his time shredding, smoking blunts, and quelling the munchies.

Favorite line: "CleanPee.Com"

HOLLY TOWNE is "Robin," Kimberly's party-loving and exhibitionist side-kick. Robin enjoys drinking, nookie, and riding the ski-lift.

Favorite line: "Hello! Hot babe talking to you!"

BRAD HAWKINS ("Shake, Rattle, & Roll") is the mysterious European, Christophe. Christophe's interests include hanging around the ladies' room, horning in on other guys' dates, and shredding. For all the girls looking for eye candy in this film - Brad's the one to watch!

Favorite line: "I'll stay here...look around...keep the ladies warm."
