SCOTT WEINGER Q & A

First Edition: April 10, 2005

If you have a question for Scott, please send it to me at jennifer@scottweinger.net. I will be forwarding a list of your questions, periodically, for Scott to answer when his time allows! :-)

Question: While working as the youth correspondent for Good Morning America, was there a story in particular that you enjoyed reporting the most?
Scott: I enjoyed every story I did for Good Morning America, but I think the most fun I had working on the show was reporting from Europe on young Americans living in Prague. Prague is an amazing city, and it was going through an incredible change at that time. Becoming familiar with the city and the young Americans who had chosen to make there lives there was very rewarding.

Question: Is there a chance of any joint ventures between you and your former castmates of "Full House?"
Scott: The entire cast of "Full House" is still very close, and we see each other on a regular basis. I don't know of any current collaborations among cast members, but it's certainly something that could happen in the future.

Question: What was the premise of the 1999 short film, REGRET, and what was it that captivated your interest in the project?
Scott: REGRET was a short film I acted in not long after finishing college, about the consequences of drunk driving. The people involved were enthusiastic and the subject of course very important, and we all enjoyed shooting the film in Orlando, FL.

Question: Did you participate in any extracurricular activities while attending Harvard?
Scott: I was extremely busy with extracurricular activities throughout my entire time at Harvard. Most of them involved continuing the work I had left behind to go to college. I continued to commute regularly to Los Angeles and New York to work on the ALADDIN television series and sequels, and was constantly traveling to work for GOOD MORNING AMERICA as well. I remember often arriving in Boston on the redeye on Monday mornings and going straight to class from the airport with my suitcases!

Question: Was the transition of returning to Los Angeles more or less difficult than the transition to the academic environment of Harvard?
Scott: Returning to Los Angeles after four years away was an adventure and I was excited to be back with my friends and family here. If there was anything difficult about being back in LA, it was that my time at Harvard was so much fun and always filled with so many rich experiences.

Question: Have you surfed any more waves since you appeared on "Switched Up?"
Scott: I haven't gone surfing since the show, but I'm thinking about it. I've been too busy to get back to the beach, but hopefully soon!

Question: What steps prepared you to become a writer for a television show?
Scott: I think growing up as an actor on television shows was great preparation for entering the world of TV writing and I learn more every day.

Question: Is there a P.O. box address where fans can send their letters of appreciation to?
Scott: That's a good idea -- I'll let you know when I set that up!

If you'd like to leave Scott a note of thanks for his time, you may enter it in the guestbook!
